Hey everybody !
This is Jasper (aka Power2All) and we will be at J-popcon upcoming weekend.
Me and Aran (friend of mine) will be flying tomorrow 11am to Denmark and will be setting up our system there for anybody that wants to sing their lungs out (not for real, ofcourse xD).
We don't know exactly when we boot up the Karaoke session, but it might be Friday evening or something close to that.
More information will be posted here when we return.

I'm working on setting up a Soramimi karaoke machine and I've spent the day working on learning your software and making a proof-of-concept, however for the life of me I can't figure out the multi-colored lyrics for duets and background harmony. I've looked everywhere and even tested the time-coded lyrics from the video you have on the site.
So, simply..
Question: Are simultaneous colored lyrics supported in the current version of Soramimi?
If so, do you have anything that could guide me on how to do it?

Hey Fred and all,
with the current Soramimi you can simply change the colour of the lyrics by putting a html tag around the line you wish to color.
If the color changes between seperate lines, the tag is optional, but with switching within a single line it is mandatory.
Please note that you cannot skip to the beginning of a line with a color code, as the program does not recognize it as timed, so time your songs correctly, then add the color tags.

Thankyou! With your help I got it to work. Although, I found out the following things..
1. You need a < FONT > tag on every line.
2. You do not need to close the FONT tag at the end of the line.
3. FONT Tag requires hex color codes.
It works pretty well. I've color coded The Weather Girl's version of "It's Raining Men" which is a duet with background vocals all going at the same time. It works pretty well and can handle all the action on the screen fine.
When working on a color coded song, I find it easiest to encode a set of lyrics for each part rather than one set of lyrics, since it's easier to timecode.

Hi Soramimi folks! Sorry to post here, but.. It seems your old site (and the all-important download link for the program!) are now giving a 404 error. Any chance of fixing the download link, at least? I have a copy, but I don't want others to miss out! I'm planning on using Soramimi Karaoke at a convention this year. I'm timing some songs as well, and I'd be happy to contribute them to your group. Thanks for a great piece of software!
